Our Vision
A world where every child, family, and professional has access to compassionate, high-quality behavioral support — illuminating the path toward growth, understanding, and meaningful change.
Our Mission
The Northlight Collaborative provides evidence-based behavior consulting, advocacy, and training that center on clarity, care, and collaboration.
We partner with families, educators, and organizations to build sustainable systems of support that empower individuals to thrive in their homes, schools, and communities.
Our Name
“Northlight” represents direction, clarity, and gentle guidance — the steady illumination that helps others find their way.
It reflects our belief that when we lead with compassion and evidence, growth naturally follows.
Who we are
About Our Founder
Jamie B. Castro, M.S., BCBA, LBA
Behavior Analyst • Educator • Advocate
I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) with over a decade of experience supporting children, families, and educators.
I began my career as a special education teacher before becoming a district-wide behavior specialist, where I discovered a calling to bridge the gap between systems — uniting compassion, science, and real-world application.
Guided by both professional expertise and personal conviction, I founded The Northlight Collaborative to create a practice grounded in humanity and hope. My work reflects a belief that progress happens through partnership — when people feel seen, supported, and equipped with the right tools to succeed.
Beyond my credentials, I am a mother, educator, and lifelong learner who understands that meaningful change takes patience, perspective, and light.
